Luke Currier

Luke grew up in Coupeville where he graduated in 1991.  After high school Luke attended Skagit Valley College in Burlington, followed by Western Washington University in Bellingham where he graduated with a BA in Political Science in 1996.

Luke married his high school sweetheart Bev in 1994 and after graduating university moved back to Whidbey Island to be close to family where he began his career working for InterWest Bank and Pacific Northwest Bank.  From 1996 to 2000 Luke gained experience in lending, loan servicing, collections, and residential underwriting after which he was selected for a management training program which led to him becoming an Area Manager overseeing South Whidbey’s Freeland and Clinton bank branches from 2001 to 2002.

When Wells Fargo purchased Pacific Northwest Bank in 2003 Luke moved to the East Bay in San Francisco where he launched a De Novo Financial Center for the bank after which he transitioned full time into lending where he helped launch the Alternative Lending Division of Mason McDuffie mortgage in San Ramon, CA where he worked until 2006.  In 2006 Luke established his own lending company which specialized in providing comprehensive lending and credit solutions to professional sports and entertainment clients to support long-term wealth strategies.

In 2009 Luke was offered a unique opportunity to sharpen his entrepreneurial and business development skills by taking on a new challenge closer to home.  Luke and his wife Bev moved back to the Greater Seattle Area where they founded, built and operated a multimillion-dollar health and fitness business.  Luke directed all business development, sales, client engagement, employee management, PR, marketing, project management, partnership development, and business operations; resulting in 12% annual growth of topline revenue for over a decade.

In April 2020 Luke accepted the position of Chief Operating Officer at Land Title and Escrow. Luke was excited to be back home in Island and Skagit counties where he and Bev are closer to family and friends.  On January 1st, 2021 Luke stepped into the role of CEO where his background in real estate, finance, banking and business development prepared him well for this new and exciting challenge.

In their free time Luke and his wife Bev spend time taking long walks and hiking with their Australian Labradoodle Happy.  For fun Luke loves listening to music, going to concerts, exercising, cooking, making cocktails, watching movies, traveling, and reading books.
